Occultism

What does Occultism mean?

Occultism refers to a broad range of beliefs, practices, and ideologies that are concerned with the study and exploration of esoteric and supernatural phenomena. The term “occult” comes from the Latin word “occultus,” which means “hidden” or “secret.”

In its broadest sense, occultism encompasses a wide range of spiritual, mystical, and magical practices, including alchemy, astrology, divination, Hermeticism, kabbalah, tarot, and many others. Occultism is often associated with a desire to understand the hidden, spiritual aspects of the universe, and to gain knowledge and power through the study of esoteric arts and sciences.
